Life seems very scary to me at times when sober...very scary.
But booze is so bad for you that not only will it mess with your physical health, but will start messing with your mind as well, you'll start seeing things out of the corner of your eyes, like bugs, etc.
How come everything that makes you feel so good, is so terribly bad for you?
Why can't vitamins make you stoned, high or drunk, but in a good way....maybe they do.

The hardest time to quit drinking is the day you say you want to quit drinking.

Drinking really throws you off your game. You can't drink and expect to progress at anything.
Drinking is for when you've already made it to the top. But if you drink while trying to get to the top, you'll never make it there.

I started drinking earlier...maybe 3 beers, but instead of continuing, I cooked up some potatoes and ate those instead to supplement that drinking feeling. In other words those softly fried potatoes satisfied that thick gut feeling beer would normally give me...and I'm glad, cause drinking till smashing drunk is not something my body needed tonight, or me.

Been sober for the last few days and loving it. Thoughts are clearing up, energy coming back, and even a bit of optimism coming back, even though not everything is going my way.
Oh well, booze is the last thing I need right now, I'll instead deal with my up and down emotions in a more positive way, hopefully.
