New and old Scary/Horror movie reviews
Let's start with a top 10 list that someone else put together, like anything else, horror movies are about 'taste' and can be ranked differently depending on person ranking them.
Let's begin.

Being forced to watch these movies will definitely take your mind off of Covid
I think this video here is a 'studio' promoting their own particular brand of horror movies, the types you find in Walmart discount movie bin, or at travel center movie bins for like $3.00...good grief.

Patient Seven
Patient Seven is actually a newer horror movie worth checking out, I watched it last night and was surprised at how well it was directed and 'scened' for a newer scary movie.
It's kind of a more big budget horror movie, the kind that use to get released in theaters, but now days not sure how such movies earn revenue, especially on YT, since it's free.
Now's probably the worst time to be a up and coming actor/actress with so many different streaming sites now and studios and this and that, it's all so saturated now and saturation means less pay for the talent.

This one here falls more in 'sci-fi' arena, sci-fi/horror
This movie here, if what I think it is, was like created near tail end of when big budget sci-fi movies released and was a big deal...when people still went to theaters, and blockbuster movie reviews revealed in media following Monday.
This movie created, produced, released like on the tail end of Hollywood's glory.
And think this movie, if read back story to it, related to the 'Alien' series some how.

The Wrong House
This one here seems worth a watch in that I can usually tell within minutes if movie is worth my time or not, and so far at around 10 minutes into this one, it seems pretty solid.
Characters are believable, and that's important, and story line, at least so far, not predictable...in other words you can't really tell where the movie is taking you, even 10 minutes in, the movie plot still seems 'fresh', and that's hard to do with 1000's of horror movies already out there.
Anyways, when done watching I'll come back and give final review.

Cabin in the Woods - 2012
I've never been able to see this movie all the way through, even though came out in 2012, and for some reason it's one of those movies that you can't see for free, not even on Netflix, when I had Netflix you could only order the DVD or 'rent stream' the movie..(I think only DVD).
It's a clever movie filled with a lot of 'monsters' where you'd not expect them, and the 'force' behind the monsters.
Starts off like any other typical College students go on vacation type of movie, but distinquishes itself soon after.
(I'm hoping this is the write movie, I get this and the other cabin movie mixed up all the time).
I think the other movie is 'Cabin fever', which is more about radiation leak that mutates the local population.
Anyways, if able to view this movie, and already haven't, it's worth a watch if can figure out where to get it.

Ghost Notes
This one here's pretty good actually, with very likable characters.
Don't be fooled by the cover, it's a much more subtle movie than cover suggests, although starts off with pretty violent scene.
However, would not be on here if I didn't think a good watch or movie...which are so hard to find now.

I've forgotten how well done the original 'Dawn of the Dead' - 1978 movie was
This movie totally fits into today's times with the 'C' virus and all, I mean who knows, maybe those who have taken vaccines, will morph into zombies after a years time or so, or when some 'frequency' goes off.
Either way, this is still a decent movie to watch and has for sure stood the test of time.
Not for snow flakes though.

However, would not be on here if I didn't think a good watch or movie...which are so hard to find now. The reason why they don't like movies to air on here, is that for whatever reason when air movies away from YT, commercials don't air..so greed, is the reason. If watch a movie on here, no commericals, but it watch on YT, plagues with commercials, annoying products and services you'll never use.. Greed and commerce has sure made the world a ugly place to exist.

So hard trying to find a suitable scary movie to watch, so many styles, genres, and so forth.
I've learned if movie starts off with half naked babe...no good, porn and horror, in my book, just don't go good together.
Or if horror movie has 'under 18' type as main character...again, no good, that means movie has to be 'sanitized'.
Good horror movies usually deal with 'males' in that no one tends to care what happens to males.

The night eats the world
Odd title, but it's a decent zombie/infected type horror movie which borrows a bit from 'I am Legend', and '28 days later', but movie still has enough original scenes and content to keep you entertained, and a bit jittery.

Last Shift - 2014
I think I first watched this on Netflix?
I can't remember, but do know this movie left an impact for sure, it's kind of one of those quality, well written, horror movies that just gets buried and forgotten about real quick.
It's now playing on Amazon, and another thing, I notice Amazon and other streaming sites, simply airing many movies from years ago that most of us use to buy from those Walmart discount DVD bins, now suddenly I value the movies I still have on DVD, problem is new computer doesn't have DVD player, so bought external DVD player but still need to download DVD drivers which is a headache all in itself.
All that aside though, this movie 'Last Shift' is a decent scary movie that is full of mystery and horror, and some scary moments.

The Dead - 2011
Put this one on your list to watch, if into really solid zombie movies.
This one takes place in the interior of Africa though, which gives it a bit more realism actually. And the Zombies behave more like you'd expect them to.
Western zombies tend to behave to dramatic, you can tell there's actors underneath the effects, but the zombies in this movie behave more like the walking dead would, with no facial expressions, no growling, nothing dramatic, they just stop around like you'd expect ghouls to.
I'd say this is top 15 of all zombie movies ever made.

Vivarium www.spreaker.com/episode/46710811 I feel like watching this movie right now, cause this movie kind of feels like my life right now, a slow painful dead end to nothing. The above link is a podcast 'Para Saturday', goofy review of the movie, but the movie itself is anything but goofy.

World War Z, starring Brad Pitt
This movie is like 9 years old, but just now viewing it for the first time. Odd how it feels so much like a post pandemic movie, but it was made way before covid was even on anyone's radar.
What did they know back then?
Just started watching, but so far, seems like a decent movie. I mean if Brad Pitt's in a movie, usually the movie is going to 'bring it'...even if it's a 28 days later type of theme.
