Venom
Humans don't like me, so anytime some creature, or monster, decided so betray their own kind, in the movies, and suddenly falls in love with humanity, such a character loses my support.
Humans are vile, cruel, racist, bigots, killers, theives, liars, polluters, bias, sexest, and more...so why the hell would any alien or monster, ect, decide that humans are any better than their own species??

Sin Eater
Ahh, not sure how to rate this odd movie. It's as if they had to keep re-writing the script as movie progressed.
I don't know, it was supposed to be scary, but never really was, maybe not till the very end.
Feels more like a soap opera, a scary soap opera, I don't know, the movie didn't scare me till maybe the very end, and I mean the very end, but even then not so much as a scare as 'a What the heck'?
In that was fast forwarding the movie a lot and skipped over some key moments, so the ending didn't make sense to me until went back and watched a few scenes.
Basically ust an average scary movie, that had potential to be more, if maybe written better or had more convincing actors. But these days, you don't get big star actors anymore, seems now days most actors in this independent studios are like one and done. You see them once, and never ever again, like what I call film school type of actors.

Exeter
Hmm, what can I say? This movie here has a very modern 80's or 90's college slasher feel to it, then add in some possessions and a old asylum building.
Still watching so final verdict not out yet....also add in some 'Rec' (the possessed zombie movie)
May find self fast forwarding through the first 15 minutes though, as seeing spoiled, elite college students party and act wild, no longer interesting to me.

Quaratine 19
Wow, this one here, it will mess with your head towards the end. I watched it over two nights. It's different, but if you stay with it, it gets very interesting. And you'll end up liking some of the characters you first might not have.
It's horror/suspense/mystery/thriller and more. Each character, for the most part, plays their role pretty good. A lot of time and thought was put into this movie, which is more than I can say for most modern horror movies these days.
It's worth a watch if you want something different.

When a good movie like this ends, it's hard for me to find or get into another movie cause I get so involved in the characters. It can sometimes take me weeks, before I nail down another movie I feel is worth my time. I only swung back towards this movie do to the title 'Quarantine', but I associated that title with that other American movie by the same name. If this movie had had another title, I doubt I'd of ever watched it, but glad I did now.

The girl with all the gifts
I must say, of all the zombie type movies I've seen, ever, for sure, this one probably has the most interesting twist to it ever. I'm only about 23% into the movie, but my gosh. If you want a thinking person type of zombie or infected movie, than check this one out. I'm currently watching it on Amazon Prime. So far I'm impressed, only cause it's a zombie/infected movie with some good creative writing to it.

Old (Yep, that's the name of this sci-fi horror movie
This is a odd one, with a diverse cast, but it works, it doesn't feel forced. Some diverse casts feel totally forced, this one feels more natural, seeing as it takes place on a vacation Island somewhere.
Vacationers find themselves on a secret beach location (invite only) and for some reason things grow old, and wounds heal, and other odd stuff.
I'm still watching the movie, about halfway done, so I have no idea how it ends, but so far, so good.

Steelmanville Rd (The prequel to 'bad ben'
Ahh, I haven't watched this one yet, and well, ahh...not sure what to make of it. I did get caught up in the 'bad ben' series of movies for a while, or at least the first 3 editions, but after that they got a bit goofy.
I can't rate this movie since haven't seen it, but just posting it incase someone wants to know it exists, and then maybe 'you' can watch it and make your own review elsewhere or even here, if brave enough to...lol.

Hmm, verdicts still out on this one 'Jeepers Creepers Reborn'
I don't know...watching this on Hulu at the moment...I just don't know.
Feels so Mid 90's type of horror.

Ash vs the Evil Dead
OK, this movie, hmm, it only works as a 'dark comedy' cause the scary scenes really are scary...

HellRaiser (2023)
Yep, they did a reboot or remake of Hell raiser, that dominated theaters in the 90's.
I do believe the writer or director was gay, and you can see tones of that in this new production, in that unlike other horror movies, in this one the victims are equally male, young, and modelish looking, which is usually only how females are cast in these type of movies; and I actually find it refreshing.

A quiet place part 2
I've seen this before, but forgot how 'jump scare' this movie could be, not with music, but with the 'beasts', it just catches you off guard, but that's the sign of a good scary movie, is when the scares come when you least expect them to.

Bornless ones
Watching this on Amazon Prime. Haven't watched enough of it to give evalution yet.
One thing that gets me though, about these 'young people go to the cabin' scary movies. It amazes me how these average dudes, guys, always end up with Miss America looking dates that accompany them on these trips to the cabins in the woods.
I mean is that really realistic? Do hot chicks really hang out with dudes who go camping in the woods? I seriously doubt it.
Anyways, I'll review, once I get done watch whole movie.
