Why do people seem scarier over the phone than in real life?
Is it the abruptness of picking up the phone?
You know, like strange numbers and all.
Is it the fear of being hit with information that bad, and suddenly all at once?
Picking up the phone when you don't know the number really does leave you vulnerable.
They could say something mean, then hang up, and you have no idea who it is...I think that's the scary part.
Is being messed with and having no way to track them or it back.
