Just got home from work and feel like crap, emotionally I feel like crap.
It's not my jobs fault, it's just I've changed, kind of like a marriage, how two people can grow apart, and I just don't like what I do anymore, the environment, nothing.
Yet it pays better than most jobs and I get more time off than I would at most other jobs, so not sure what to do.
Like staying in a bad relationship or marriage for a few good things.

I may or may not have to work tomorrow. They had me headed straight for IAN the Hurricane, how stupid is that. I've been through hurricanes before and they're no joke, it's those outter bands of wind that are the scariest when inside, cause always seems like trees are going to topple over onto your place.  I wonder how many people are here today, right now, that won't be after that storm plows through? |

Just got in from work, and boy am I beat. Naps are so important, today wasn't able to take one, not really any 'sit down or still' time...and when did have such time I walked instead. I've learned keeping in shape will give you more endurance during the day, especially if of the blue collar working class as I am. So now that I'm in, just going to lay back on the futon for a bit, maybe turn the TV on, antenna TV, and surf the channels for about 15-20 minutes.  |

I'm home now, and off for the next few days, thank goodness.
working is for the birds, the older you get, the more you realize working for a paycheck is such a sham.

Why do jobs that don't help you to fiscally prosper and become rich, then want your attention when your off work, as in training videos, ect?
That stuff gets old, the older you get.
When younger, you felt like you were on some path of success, when older, you realize it's all just noise, unless your earning go up.

You can do the same job for 20 years, yet still expected to watch a training video as if you just started, it's totally insulting.

Just got off from work, or home from work...what a day, every load of the day got cancelled, I got paid to basically just drive, and sit, but still dreaded it.
On the way home I went by the home of a lady I recently met.
They're real thin, like street type of thin.
I almost feel sorry for them, and they have a little daughter who's mixed and caught up in a crazy home where that ladies Mother is always fighting with, I guess, a live in man or something.
I really don't need to get involved with stuff like that but that aside, what a day.
I have to work again tomorrow, a long drive to Macon, GA and back, gross.
I just don't like long drives anymore, at least not in a commercial vehicle.
I'm home now, and not sure how to feel, cause whenever I have to work the next day, I just never get to excited about after work time, knowing the next day I'm a slave again.
Also, since stopped drinking so much, energy level is decent again, and right now I need all the energy I can get.

I saw where company I worked for called me, probably to see if I could fill a shift.
Not only no but hell no!
When I'm off, I have a life to live, I don't just wait around frozen, for phone to ring so I can jump at opportunity to work on my day off, hell no!
I hate the environment of that job, no amount of money I get paid, to work on day off, is worth my peace and tranquility.
At my age, you just realize if have to work extra days here and there, than you're doing something wrong.
For me, it's better to save, cut back, than to torture myself working some job I hate.
