Sometimes I even envy successful scammers and thieves, notice I said successful ones, the ones who get away with stealing millions, defrauding people or the Gov out of millions, and whom never get caught, sometimes I envy them, for they're living way better than me right now.
Yet, I follow the 'rules of society' and come home feeling near dead.

It can sometimes take up to half a day or more to shake off the 'yuk' feeling of being reduced to nothing more than 'labor' at job I work at.
That will differ for everyone, so many factors, age, how long been at job, what type of job, how much money earning, social life or lack of social life at job, blue collar vs white collar, ect and ect.
But with my job, transportation, it's job labor, and I work alone pretty much, and just go from point A to B to C, and have to put up with terrible traffic at times, and moody cashiers at fuel stops, and its enough to at end of shift to just leave you feeling hollow on the inside.
And then even relationship with 'boss', knowing that the relationship only and soley based on 'business', you do your job, they make money, they pay you, but outside of that no real bond or anything in common at all.
I just come home feeling so spent, and like nothing on the inside, and it can take up to half a day to shake that feeling and revive self again when off for a few days

One thing for sure, the more time I have off, the less I feel like working, I'm not lazy, don't get me wrong, cause when not clocked in, I'm at residence doing other things I just find more fulfilling.
My job is just not very fulfilling anymore, it pays the bills so far, but that's it.
When younger, I should of stuck it out in college and got degreed in a more fulfilling field, but even then who's to say I wouldn't be burned out on that either.
I think as you age, it's natural to get burned out on things you've done for a long time.
Just depends, some would disagree with that, there's a lot of factors that determine your enthusiasm towards you job, social environment there, raises, promotions, romance, family life and more...will effect how you feel about your job.

Having 4 days off in a row, I use to think that was good, it still is, but sometimes it just makes going back to work all the more depressing. When you, or at least when I, continually have that much time off, it actually makes you not ever want to go back to work, but have to in order to generate an income.
And it depends on what you get into or do while off.
Me, I drink to much, that's my problem, I drink to much when off, to much beer which cuts into my productive time.
I gotta go back to work tomorrow.
One good thing about that is when I'm working, shifts are so long that when get home I don't have time nor the energy or mindset to want to drink, so often it's during my 3 long days of work that I'm able to break the drink cycle, until it starts again.

I feel beat I don't like getting home from work feeling this beat, tired and exhausted, I just don't. I don't like feeling like all the energy I had for the day only went towards a job. I work extra long shifts when do work, but then only work 3 days a week, so I guess can't complain to much to self. But there's no way I could work like 12-15 hour days for like 4-6 days a week, no way, life would be torture, and I'm not alive to torture self. I'd rather live homeless out of a van or small used RV and have time off to rest, than to live in a nice big home, but always working and to exhausted to enjoy it. Just seems like cruel irony that if can finance a big house, than must work all the time, so can't enjoy it. And if single, even worse. I don't think no one in a big house lives alone anymore unless super wealthy, most rent extra room or rooms out or roommate or spouse. I just know this, life is crummy without good health, is why going forward I only take jobs that dom't make we wake up between 1am -5am and or jobs that leave me the heck alone when off the clock. Anyways, home now, whoopti doo, when only have a few hours, if that, before have to do it again, but then off for a string of days after tomorrows shift.

Also, what's up with employers who have so much ego they want you to bow down to them even when not at work? I don't need no job that much.
I'm use to being working class poor, so nothing to me to up and quit and go somewhere else if feel disrespected, after a while labor is just labor to me.
Actually though, maybe better to get fired, so can get that unemployment check, lol, something I've never done in the entirty of my working adult life, I've always earned my checks, hour by hour.

4 days off, thank goodness
Never thought the work day would end, but now have 4 days off, thank goodness.
No worse feeling than working while sick, especially if have a job where you have to drive, cause if like 100 miles away, and start feeling bad, what are you gonna do?
Nothing, you just have to bear it until shift over.
It's Friday night, I'm older, more square, so will just stay my butt in.
Actually older people aren't square, there's plenty of older people out on the town or city right now, those with money and wealth, as in politicians, millionaires, rich criminal types, they're all out there having a ball, for when you have wealth, lots and lots of wealth, you really don't age, every day's like a party as they cruise around in their sports cars.
But when older, average, and blue collar, you just come home wore out and tired and lick your wounds.

It almost seems out and right cruel that I have to work today.
The older I get, the more the concept of work and employment seems so barbaric and unessisary.
(That's what happens when don't get into a career you love)
I wish I had been smarter when younger, milked the system, gotten some Government job with perks, retirenment ect.
but when you don't do that, what happens is you end up having to work and work and work, simply to keep a paycheck rolling in, for the minute you stop it's your head, it's off with your head, you'll lose everything in months and end up homelss living in an alley like those scenes out of movies, or real life actually when you drive downtown in most major cities today.
I guess I just always thought that buy now I'd be a multi millionair, and heaven knows I tried, I tried, but all my plans failed, I never had a supporting cast around me.
Not that I've given up and trying to get a passive income, but its not as easy as it seems.
I'm trying to become an Author and all, and other things, anything, just so that I never have to be dragged off to go do something that my heart isnt into.
If younger, take this advice, be smart, take that lower paying Government job and rise up, load self up with benefits, milk the system, for if you don't, when you get older the system will surely milk you.

it's amazing how just one day of work can wipe you out, wipe out your enthusiasm and creative energy.
I mean this time yesterday when it was my 3rd day off, I was full of colorful creative energy, cause had previous two days off.
Well today I worked long blue collar shift, and now, nothing, I feel like a zombie.
Who says work is good for you?
I think activity is good, but just laboring long hours of work, who ever said that was good for you? Cause I don't think it is, especially if not into what you do.
If your, our, jobs are just 'space fillers', not good at all.
But I guess only we can change that by either training for something we want to do or just creating our own businesses, but that's easier said than done.

Just got off work
Just got off work, home now, and can't begin to tell you how washed up and worn down body feels right now.
Blue collar jobs can really take a toll on your body as you age cause you have to toil threw your aches and pain, and discomfort for 8-14 hours in order to earn a check.
I remember thinking back, when younger, of Pastors who'd say 'Just trust in god'...well I did in the past, and look at me now.
It's me, my body, that aches and pains, not gods.
God is somewhere in another realm, I'm here, toiling as i age...and getting tireder and tireder by the month (tireder is not a word)

In the mean time all those who cheat and steal, on a corporate level, are living high on life, but those of us dumb enough to follow the rules are scraping by with little if no hope for a better future as we age.

Work, for me, is such a distraction and deviation from who I really am, that when I get off work, it's hard for me to settle back into 'me', until there's been like a 1-2 hour seperation from me getting off.
But then if have to work the next day, right when 'find self' again, it's time for bed.

Decompression Chamber The above image is of a decompression chamber, it's what I do believe deep see divers are put into to help balance the inner gas levels with that of the atmosphere once returning to the surface so that they don't get the bends. Well, I go through a similar process when getting off of work, and I'm sure we all do in that we all need to enter our own decompression chamber to find our balance once getting off work. And personal factors will determine how long that process lasts with each individual. Sometimes I can decompress within 1 hour, other times it may take a whole night of sleep, and part of the morning to totally severe myself from the previous work day or days, in order to be able to enjoy my off time.

Home now from work, haven't been home this early in a while. I feel better today than I did yesterday.
It feels so good to get home, sometimes I want to go back to working 8 hour days, sure I'd have to work like 5 days a week, but I kind of miss getting home with enough time to actually have a full evening.
Like to me, a 7-4 schedule would be near ideal, I had that schedule for a while, now I work 3 long days, and off 4...which is better?

Just got in from work again, longer day than yesterday.
I feel sorry, sort of, for some of the females who do what I do, cause it's a very lonely job.
Heck, I feel sorry for me, cause at least the females have lovers waiting for them when they get home, with me it's just an extension of the days loneliness.
And like yesterday, the usable time I have to actually do anything is few and low, before having to go to bed....but then tomorrow is my Friday, and after that off for 4 days again...cool.
I only keep this job do to those 4 days off, that's the only reason.
