Netflix vs Amazon Prime videos
In this case neither company ends up screwing you, but there is a notable difference in their services, and I can say this as one who has tried both.
With Netflix, it's pretty much what you see is what you get, you want to watch a movie on Netflix, hit the tab and watch it, no surprises.
But with Amazon Prime service, lots of surprises in that seems every movie you really want to watch you have to first pay for it, that's right, you have to pay for it 'again', after already subscribing to monthly service.
That part I did not like, I mean why tease people with a movie that they then have to pay for to watch, as if going to 'Redbox' vending machine.
Why the heck would I pay for a movie on Amazon Prime when already subscribed to their streaming service?
And I didn't, and so the few movies I did watch when had that service were like 'B' movies, the types you use to find at Walmart DVD or Blue Ray movie bins, the discarded movies that no one else wanted for like $2.99
If decide to get streaming movie service again, it will be with Netflix, at least that way no surprises in that if I see movie I want to watch, I can watch it, and not be hit with 'fee'.
And Netflix just easier to navigate since all they focus on is movies and TV shows and the like, where as Prime focuses on many things and constantly begging you to sign up for stuff you'll never use after sign up, and then forget you're getting charged monthly for it.
Netflix is the winner here, if all you want to do is watch movies or TV shows.
