Convincing self to buy new vehicle can be quite the task. Salesmen are all shiftless and cunning, and the websites are full of pop ups and annoying side bars. Yet you only live once, go around once in this world, and if to cheap, you're really only cheating self. I, for one, haven't had a new car in years, maybe even decades, have always just paid cash for used cars, but as I age am sort of wanting a new car again. Right now looking at either low end Mazda or Dodge Charger. or But would really like a full sized passenger van, believe it or not... Yes, a full size passenger van is always my first choice. But they usually start at over $30,000. I just like vans for some reasons. But if I can't get a van, then must settle for next best. Shopping for new reliable vehicle is never easy...so many brands, styles, colors. But right now I've narrowed it down to a Mazda brand or Challenger sports vehicle. I'd like to be in a sporty vehicle while still physically sporty. I mean how many times do you see people with nice new Corvettes get out of car and their fat, out of shape, or in their 60's or 70's. I look good, still in shape, and want a vehicle that reflects that. Oh well, we'll see, going to visit Challenger dealership tomorrow maybe.

Payments are Payments2-4 months into making care payments, they will all seem the same there after, and it won't matter that you tried to save 20-50 a month in payments by getting less features or a style of car you don't really like. It won't matter, cause as soon as you don't get what you really wanted, you will wish you had. And whatever money you thought you were saving by going with economy size or shape, instead of your gut dream, you'll end up regretting it soon. Obviously not everyone can afford a Porsche, but everyone has an equivalent model or car they want, or 'Poor mans Porsche' that would make them equally as happy. For some that could be a new pick up truck, for others it could be low end sports car, for another could be a SUV ect. Basically what matters, what will give you peace of mind is to get 'your Porsche' regardless of what model or style it is. Get the vehicle that makes you feel that you're in the Porsche you can afford, be it a Honda or Chevy or Dodge or Nissan ect. Cause if you don't, once you start making those payments you'll really wish you had. Peace of mind and satisfaction is or are priceless.

Buick Encore Yes, kind of in the car market again. Test drove a Dodge Challenger today, but way to pricey, then started looking at used options. I like the way Buick Encores look, I like that 'snug' look they have, like a moon patrol vehicle or something. I make look at one tomorrow, but it all comes down to financing, being able to put enough money down to keep payments at or below 200. Otherwise it's not worth it to me right now.

Mercedes used E class 350 Coupe Also looking at this Mercedes (well not the exact one in photo) but a 2012 model, that looks like the one above..why? Cause although not a sports car per say, it still has a sporty look to it, and makes a statement wherever you pull up to. And tired of driving older, non flasher car I have, need something to lift my moral a bit, otherwise I'll just continue working and getting old, and that's no fun.

the trick is is trying to find a car that will reflect your mood most of the time, cause our moods can change from week to week, day to day, but obviously the car we drive cannot. So the trick is trying to find a vehicle that averages you mood most of the time.

Or I could just continue living cheap and safely and not ever take any fiscal risks.

Heard on the radio where more and more consumers willing to make $1000 a month car payments??!!, why, when can humble self and buy decent used vehicle instead
$1000 a month payments, are you kidding me? Never...there goes your early retirement money.
Why not ust buy a decent used vehicle instead? Watch video and see how even today, one can buy a vehicle, a decent one, for under 5 gran.
Don't be played by the times, and good people care more about your character than the car you drive, while always being broke.
