The older I get, observe others, other peoples cultures, ideas about self and others, the world around them, the harder it is for me to believe in one supreme loving God over all.
This one supreme loving God of all certainly is not reflected in the hearts and minds of most others.
More posts to follow.

You get to a point where you realize that even the 'Love of Christ' cannot even penetrate the nature or hardness of man, after a while.
The spreading of the gospel just seems to be at a all time low now.
And it always amazes me that when you go to grocery stores on Sunday, any store, and see people dressed up who have just came from church, how they never say hi, hello, never speak.
In fact I'm always the one to speak, to say hi, hello, not cause 'Jesus forces me to', but rather cause it's the right cordial thing to do.
The only time many in church seem to be cordial, happy towards others, is when they're in the immediate vicinity of their church with verbal stimulation from Pastor and choir.
But outside of that, there really is no 'divine love' radiating from any of them, or you'd feel it.
If a Universal Loving God spirit were really in them, and influencing them, than that divine love would radiate out, and they'd say 'Hello'.
But instead human nature takes over as soon as they leave church, same social cautions, barriers, prejudices just seem to rule the day regardless of what God anyone claims to worship or be in them.

I don't think religion corrupts man, rather it's man that corrupts religion
I think man corrupts religion the same way man corrupts politics, banking, athletic events.
It is the nature of man that is corrupt, everything else, including religion, simply become instruments of that corruption within mans nature.
I can't blame Islam for being 'dark' or 'evil'...man is dark and evil, and cloaks self in various religions.
But that's to easy, and it's instead easier for most to blame exterior causes for mans corrupt behavior.
In other words with or without religion, man would find ways to be corrupt.
Man was corrupt before Islam was even a religion, man always finds an outlet for his underlying dark nature and desires.
Before Islam was created, that corruption simply came out in other forms, don't believe me?, well just simply study history.
There's never ever been a time in recorded history when the corruption of man didn't rear itself in one shape or form.
Kingdoms, Empires, conquest, oppression ect.
It's man that is corrupt, not Christianity or Islam or Catholism (I give up on how to spell that)
If Islam was never invented, something else would have been, to take it's place and become an outlet or justification of conquest.

I hate when someone who doesn't know you, tells you you need 'Jesus', when they know nothing about what you do know, or your past, talk about arrogant.
