I was just looking through the Craigslist employment adds, and seems 'Door Dash' dominates all the labor jobs.
How do they get away with that?
They've become like spam.
Screw Door dash, I mean if it were such a wonderful job why do they have 1000 add spots on craigslist?
That aside, nothing on C/L excited me.
I always say I want a new job, but when I look at the pay, screw that.
How the F you going to pay any full time working person 16 an hours?
I mean low pay just makes no sense?
Like you're supposed to work full time just to be broke?
Or to just be able to pay rent, and nothing else?
Or live 3-4 in a apartment or rented home?
16 an hour is for teenagers who still live at home, not for grown adults who pay their own bills!

Then you hear about like State workers, or like this one teacher administrator who gets fired, yet still gets a 500,000-severance check?
That's how wealth is built, is when ordinary people receive humongous salaries from tax payers.
Wealth is certainly not built wasting life away at some low wage hourly job, that's for sure, regardless of how hard one works.

I don't know, as I age, work, employment, just becomes less and less appealing to me, I guess cause I realize what a sham it all is.
It's why you have to have passion for what you do.
Sadly though, what I have passion for I don't get paid to do....in fact I have to pay to do it.
No wonder so many people just cheat and fraud the Government now, I don't, but can see why others do it now, and many do it in the millions of dollars...people stole billions from the Gov during the covid PPP relief period.
But us working class stiffs can never seem to catch a break, cause we're honest suckers who were taught following the system would yield good results...bs, it doesn't....you just get older while those who cheat the system get rich around you.

I'm just not inspired by much right now, maybe cause I just got off from my job.
Also I'm no longer in the 'I can save the world' youthful mindset.
Many people are just mean, cruel and nasty, and don't even deserve saving, you begin to learn as you age.

Social media, before bias algorithms, was a way common people could earn money, but now with all the algorithms that totally slant views, 'hits', ect to a select few, you can forget about that route anymore.
Now you just waste hundreds of hours online for nothing, just to be harvested by ads

Right now I'm unemployed, but instead of just jumping back into a normal dull 9-5 mundane job, I'm thinking about going to a film academy...it costs, but it's kind of my dream....and as a older Gen X type, I don't have to much more time to go after dreams...so why not?
I'll make my mind up tomorrow.
I just want to try something different, while I still have the energy and health to.

 I don't know about you all, but I know I get sick and tired of traditional applications and resumes, to which I find to be very stiff, narrow and suffocating in as far as allowing you to express to any give future employer who you really are. Trying to describe who you are on one sheet of paper would be like trying to write all the code for a app or video game on that same piece of paper. You just cannot do it.
