Of all the time I've been here, where I'm at now, only once was there a neighbor I could even think about dating, and they moved away back to Texas shortly after I moved in.
All the rest have been duds to me, a single person of color.
All the rest, with the exception of the guy who use to live right below me, they were like 'Red Foxx' on Sanford and Son, same skin tone, same demeanor and all, but a bit nicer, we got along great, they were like a Father or older Uncle figure, the loved to fish, they were older and into traditional stuff, his wife passed away though, and he moved away last year.
But other than him, all the rest have been very anti-social people for a variety of reasons.
1. Either jumbo sized, African black, Lesbian couples have moved in, one couple use to have viscous fights, and recently another urban Lesbian B couple just moved out. So seems either urban lesbian types are moved into my unit or
2. Elderly types, like Golden gals elderly, way beyond sexual prime, no fun at all for a person like me.
3. Island immigrants, and again jumbo sized lady with short manly haircut, don't know if they had the airbnb thing going on for a while or what, cause seemed guests constantly change, and they're all immigrants, don't talk to you, act all paranoid, just straight up anti-social.
4. Married urban type couples, who again act all paranoid, keep to themselves, had one mixed couple move in, dude was former marine and had 2 viscous dogs, they got evicted eventually.
Here's the deal, where I stay rent has gone up 50%, so different people are moving in, more whites, and other non black people of color.
And younger people that I find sexy, but for whatever reason the only types the office seems to move up where I reside or socially dead types, what a waste!!
I may as well not even have a ______.
Well one unit is available, and I'm just hoping a younger white, or even non urban gay male couple movies in, or anyone else who's sociable and out going, young and still sexy.
I'm just tired of living around folks who are dead to me, and me to them, it's such a waste of precious life, to go through your prime, what's left of it, while living around anti social, non sexy duds.

Where I stay, I'm seeing a demigraphic shift, again, from residents. Some getting shoved out, others moving right on in. It use to be rough where I stay, I've been here around 9 years or so, wow. Then it got better for a while, then bad again, then better, and now it just keeps getting better, as in safer and less onsite violence. But this last management team to buy out place may of just put the final blow on lower level street types, in that new management will no longer accept housing vouchers of any kind, meaning no section 8 or HUD or anything.  Now, only those who work, and can pay rent on their own, will be allowed to sign the lease. How do I feel about that? More happy than sad. I've always worked, and have always paid my own way, so that's all I'm use to. Will crime drop? I don't know, cause criminal roam now, and criminals usually don't rob people right where they stay. But I do notice more 'white folks', and 'Hispanic folks', and 'Mediterranean folks', and other tan folks that aren't considered 'black', are moving in. I mean isn't that how it usually goes? I mean if other people can get jobs and work on the up and up, why can't black folks do the same?...and in fairness most do. And the mistake black folks make is assuming that the browner America becomes, the better a place it will be for 'them'....wrong. In that most 'brown' people don't consider themselves 'black', and relate more to Anglos, and many 'brown' people can actually be more violent and hostile towards black folks than even white folks are. Anyways, yep, things are a changing, and I happen to have one of the best places here, even though rent just keeps going up, so far I can still afford it, cause if can't than next step would be a roommate, and I certainly do not want or need one of those. Would rather do Air BNB before getting perminent roommate. |

Urban B folks are just slobs, and love to litter and will just drop litter anywhere, even in nicer places, it don't matter.
I don't even know why apartment complexes allow such types in, or their friends who come by late at night and just drop litter everywhere like slobs.
I'm a person of color and would much rather live around racists whites, who at least leave you alone, and don't litter, than to live around urban slobs who love to litter.

I'm actually starting to think that black folks in America maybe would be happier in Africa, since all they do is complain about whites here, and since this new, younger generation, is running rampant and creating social havoc.
But the sad thing is, is today, Africa is not the same as it was decades or 100 years ago or further, it's now being exploited by China, and Russia, ect.
The problem with Africa are the corrupt leaders there, who make deals with other nations and corporations to self enrich self, while depriving their population of the same wealth or middle class type of earnings.
It's the African leaders of nations there, that are really the villains, in my opinion, and is why Africa can never really be a 'black' utopian type of place anymore.
Then you have ISIS, Al Quiada and other extremist running amuck there, what a mess.
