Things you begin to realize as you get older

My brain has become very lazy.
Lazy as in I don't like to focus or concentrate on anything for to long.
I think drinking beer has something to do with that, although not currently drinking. (1 week, big wow), but still I do think drinking has simplified my brain, it has made my brain lazy.....that and social media, where everything is instant, or used to be.

As such, I need to sharpen my brain again, start learning guitar, the piano, a foreign language, anything to stimulate brain cells, and to learn to focus again.

I can tell my brain has become lazy cause I don't like to learn things anymore...I like a overview, and that's it, but start going into details and I lose interest.
Well, it's detailed people who get ahead in this world.

I need to retrain my brain to focus, think, learn, and problem solve.

I try to stay healthy and in shape, regardless of what I think my future will be.
I guess I do it cause, well, while alive, even if suffering fiscal hardship, I'd rather do so while in shape than sickly....not that that day has come yet, but it could.

When younger, and caught up in religion and all, I was so convinced that 'Jesus' would of already come back by now

I made some terrible reckless decisions, when younger, like right out of high school type of young, in the belief that Jesus would of come back by now.
Those people at the churches I went to, some, should be shamed of themselves for allowing some of us to make stupid decisions back then, thinking Jesus's return was imminent.

I guess the joke was on me...or us...
